Source: Comics Continuum

At the conclusion of Dark Nights: Metal #4, Superman and Batman unexpectedly discovered Carter Hall at the location of the Dark Forge Of Worlds. But the Hawkman they found had been radically changed. This one-shot issue fills us in on Carter's backstory since his disappearance.

The DC Comics solicit reads:

One of DC's greatest heroes is missing! No one has seen or heard from Carter Hall - a.k.a. Hawkman-in years. Reincarnated repeatedly since the dawn of humanity, Hawkman has spent his many lives uncovering history's most fantastic mysteries, and now he has become one himself! Take a journey into the one of the darkest corners of the DC Universe as a mysterious man tries to piece together what happened to Hawkman, and how it all connects to the events of Dark Nights: Metal!

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
