SDCC: 'Wonder Woman: Bloodlines' and 'Batman Hush' Part of 2019 DC Animated Movies!

We will be getting FOUR DC Animated movie for 2019. Two all-new tales, and two adaptations of classic comic book stories.

During tonight's premiere of the Death of Superman, DC Comics revealed their slate of animated films for 2019. Of course, Reign of the Supermen, the second part to the adaptation of the classic 90s Superman story will kick off the new year. Unlike the prior 2007 effort, this one will feature Eradicator, Steel, Superboy, and oh yes, THE CYBORG SUPERMAN (sorry I have to pause at an actually done right adaptation for once).

After that in the spring, we will be getting Justice League vs. the Fatal Five (Tharok, Emerald Empress, Validus, Mano and the Persuader). It wasn't stated if this too would take part in the DC Animated Universe, or an original story. But the DC press release teases the possibility that the Legion of Superheroes might show up in the movie.

Then in the summer, we will be getting Batman: Hush, an adaptation of the Batman story by Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee. Again, no word if it'll be a straight adaptation of the comic, or just parts of it will be incorporated in the straight-up DC Animated Universe (it sounds like more of the later). All that's confirmed is that this will be the first appearance of Hush in animated form.

Finally, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines was announced for 2019 (her first original movie since 2009's) as well. However, no plot synopsis or solid release was given. Just that it was coming next year too.

So what you think of next year's slate of DC Animated movies? Personally, I'm only interested in the first and last. Hush, was a shitty lackluster story that only had some great art. That was it. The villain sucked, and it'll be interesting to see if the movie tackles the plot holes the comic story had.
