In addition to talent, comics is who you know and the former frequent collaborator of Vertigo editor Jamie S. Rich, Joëlle Jones will write and draw an ongoing Catwoman series. Jones is best known for her work on Lady Killer, Batman, and Supergirl: Being Super.
Catwoman's new solo series spins out of her wedding to Batman in the upcoming Batman #50, for which Jones designed her wedding dress. This series won't follow post-wedding bliss, but will rather see Catwoman back on the streets taking on a brand-new villain.
Catwoman's last ongoing, set during New 52, ran for a fitting 52 issues.
