For those who are not salty about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the upcoming novelization of the movie, and the home video version will include "deleted scenes" giving you more of the story. Bits and pieces of information about these scenes have been scattered about the internet, but if you don't want to be spoiled, you can stop reading now.

This week's The Star Wars Show had a short segment about the movie's novelization. In it, writer/director Rian Johnson talks a little about how he worked with novelist Jason Fry on the adaptation. Fry talks about writing new scenes from the book like the funeral of Han Solo, Rose and Paige Tico interacting, and further exploration of the city of Canto Bight. The book will also include scenes that were once a part of the film, but were taken out. During this part of the segment a clip of one deleted scene is shown. This appears to be a part of Luke's third lesson for Rey where she rushes to what she thinks is village in danger due to something Luke tells her.

The segment starts at about the 3 minute, 2 second mark; the deleted clip starts at around the 3 minute, 54 second mark and is less than 10 seconds:

The Star Wars: The Last Jedi novelization will be available on March 6. The date for home video release of the movie has not been revealed yet.
