Channing Tatum's Gambit Movie's Supposed Budget Is Too Damn High

Movies aren't supposed to get $10 million for every year in development hell.

The rumored budget for Disney's Fox's Marvel's Gambit movie is $155 million, which was the original budget filed with the Louisiana Film Office in 2015. In comparison, Deadpool's budget was $58 million and Logan's was $97 million. This budget is more in line with an ensemble film such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine's $150 million budget and X-Men Apocalypse's $178 million.

Directed by Gore Verbinski, Gambit stars Channing Tatum as the titular character and Lizzy Caplan is in talks for the female lead of Bella Donna Boudreaux. An estimated 70 day shooting schedule is set to begin in March for a Feb 14, 2019 release date.
