The Woohooligan Kickstarter

Potty humor. This time...for justice!

Source: Laugh It Forward!

Given comedy is full of hack comedians that say offensive things just to gauge a reaction instead, of you know, telling jokes that are actually clever, can crass humor be used for good? Can a dick joke rise above its squabbling middle school origins and help those in need: POC, GLBT, women, etc. Can it stick it to the man? Give a Nazi a good punch in the face? Or at the very least make Trump have another hilarious meltdown?

Dick Jokes for Justice

Well, Samuel Isaac Dealey certainly thinks so. An indie comic creator specializing in comedy and activism, he has a Kickstarter happening right now for two books: Wooholigan Vol. 2: Laugh It Forward and Hellbent Vol. 1: Hell If I Know. The first is a compilation of his ongoing webcomic, a series of strips that fuse humor with political comedy, similar to The Boondocks. Hellbent is an original story about a woman named Amy who goes to Hell and has an identity crisis that makes Holden Caulfield's debauched in New York look like a trip to Chucky E. Cheese (And yet that rodent's pizza den is still more terrifying).

Both books are 64 pages in length and fully colored. The reason for Sam's Kickstarter is to <fund an Antifa killbot> cover printing, shipping, and pre-press cleanup costs. Those who donate to the Kickstarter will be rewarded with some goodies such as personalized ringtones, early copies of the books, and even a possible visit and standup comedy routine from Same himself!

WARNING: Do not invite a comedian into your house and respond to comments with "what", "why" or any other of the five Ws. You will be bombarded with jokes about various parts of chicken anatomy to the point of madness.

Trickle down zombie

Follow the link to the Kickstarter and check it out! Support indie comics, support comedy with a message. Hey, if nothing else, have a good chuckle about zombie metaphors.

About the Author - Scary Cleve

All his life, Scary Cleve wanted to write gruesome stories in a grim Scottish castle while sipping whiskey and contemplating his existential angst. Instead, he ended up living in Florida, so he does all this with a tan. He's been a life long fan of comics and plans on writing some. Until that day, he writes and edits about comics over at PopOptiq under the guise of Ben Howard, and he's more than happy to spread his filth to the Outhouse. Other interests include horror movies, heavy metal, and writing screenplays and occasional short stories.
